Job Description
Our client is a notable water treatment company who are presently seeking the services of a self-motivated and multi-skilled Water Treatment Service Chemist based in the York and will include applications from Tadcaster, Malton, Easingwold, Boroughbridge and the surrounding areas.
The applicant must come from a strong educational, chemical, technical, management and accounts background.
Must be methodical and proficient.
Hold some form of qualification – City & Guilds would be beneficial.
Have good analytical skills.
Experience working on various industrial systems.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must have hands on experience on cooling towers, steam boilers, etc.
Must be fully conversant with the water treatment industry and the Health & Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Visiting sites and carrying out chemical analysis on steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems and complying with L8.
Working on a variety of Commercial, Industrial and Manufacturing clients.
Updating information – log books.
Providing consultancy advice as and when required and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Overall, the successful applicant will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time manage workload within time line.
