Job Title: Water Treatment / Remedial Technician
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear
Salary / Benefits: 20,000 – 34,000 + Benefits + Training
Level of Experience: Water Hygiene Engineer through to qualified plumber
Profile
Our client is an established name within the water hygiene / legionella industry and is known for providing excellent professional water treatment, water hygiene and legionella services throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced, hard-working, and self-motivated Water Treatment / Remedial Technician in and around the Newcastle Upon Tyne area. The successful candidate will ideally hold the level 2 plumbing qualification, although consideration will be given to technicians without the qualification but with hands on remedial experience.
Applications will be considered from – South Shields, Gateshead, Morpeth, Ashington, Alnwick, Sunderland, Durham, Hartlepool, Darlington, and Middlesbrough.
Experience / Qualifications:
” The successful Remedial Engineer will hold City & Guilds plumbing.
” Ideally hold a valid CSCS card.
” Excellent Communication skills.
” Proficient in using Microsoft Office Package.
The Role:
” Upgrading cold water storage tanks and associated hot and cold-water distribution systems.
” Responding to call outs as and when required.
” Carrying out thermometer calibrations.
” Cleaning and disinfections of stored water tanks.
” Liaising with suppliers and clients.
” Maintaining a good working relationship with clients and customers.
