Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: £39k – £45k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer, to cover nationwide commercial, pharmaceutical and industrial contracts. Ideally candidates will hold an electrical / mechanical background and must be well-versed in industry technical guidelines. You will be joining a respected and industry-leading name within the Water Treatment industry, who have a busy and growing client base. Our client offers fantastic further training and development and are known for providing longevity within the industry. Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
– Ideally will hold electrical / mechanical training / qualifications
– Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Adaptable to client travel needs
– Good communication skills
– Strong literacy and numeracy skill level
The Role:
– Attending client sites to conduct installations, servicing and repairs on water treatment equipment, including: ROs, water softeners, UV filtration and demineralisation units
– Decommissioning equipment / systems
– Diagnosing faults and making recommendations for repairs / replacements
– Calibrating equipment
– Quoting for works
– Creating RAMS
– Producing regular technical reports
– Working across a range of healthcare, commercial, industrial and manufacturing premises
