Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary / Benefits £25k – £38k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Equipment Engineer through to Lead Water Treatment Equipment Engineer

Profile: A well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company with an excellent presence in the South, who strive to deliver their Commercial, Domestic, Retail, Healthcare and Manufacturing clients with high quality services, are now seeing to recruit an experienced and diligent Water Treatment Equipment Engineer based in and around the Reading area. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out work on Water Softeners and Reverse Osmosis units, as well as, undertaking installations and servicing as well as fault finding on chemical dosing equipment.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must have extensive experience working as an Equipment Engineer for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
” Will have extensive knowledge of ACoP L8 / HTM 04-04 / HSG 274 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” Will be competent in using PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role:
” Servicing and installations of Water softeners, Reverse Osmosis and Chlorine dioxide units.
” Installing Chemical dosing equipment.
” Assisting with training staff in line with company needs.
” Using PDA / Tablet systems to produce detailed, site-specific reports.
” Carrying out fault finding on site and dealing with appropriately.
” Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
” Ensure all work is being carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / HSG 274 guidelines.
