Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber
Location: Guildford, Surrey.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber through to Lead Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber

Profile: Our client is a reputable and established water treatment / Hygiene company who work hard to provide their clients with the full range of water treatment / hygiene duties. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and qualified Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Guildford area. The ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or L3 in plumbing and will have extensive experience undertaking cleaning and chlorination’s on both hot and cold water systems, descales and disinfections and carrying out any remedial plumbing duties.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold extensive experience working within the Water treatment industry
” Will hold experience undertaking remedial plumbing duties to a range of sites.
” Will ideally hold the NVQ L 2 or L3 in plumbing.
” Must be up to date with relevant Health & Safety legislation
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Undertaking temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
” Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
” Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers, cooling towers, shower heads and flushing.
” Using information from site to produce detailed reports.
” Descaling and disinfection and tank cleans and dosing.
” Building and maintaining a good rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
