Job Description

Our client is well established within the water treatment / legionella industry. They provide a wide range of water treatment / legionella duties to a mixed portfolio of clients throughout the UK and due to growth of business are looking to employ a hardworking and contentious Water Treatment Business Development Manager based in and around the London area. The ideal candidate would hold strong experience within the water treatment / legionella industry and come from a managerial background, with the ability to demonstrate their business development experience, and would also hold extensive experience overseeing and growing water treatment / water hygiene and legionella accounts. Candidates from Enfield, Stevenage, Royston will be considered. The client is also open to receive CVs from candidates who have good access to the Home Counties and South Midlands area will be taken into consideration.

Qualifications & Experience

Extensive experience working in a business development role within the water treatment industry is essential.
Proven track record of managing and growing closed system, steam boilers and cooling tower accounts.
Hold a strong sales, business development, management, technical and office background is essential.
Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
Hold good leadership skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft packages.

Role

Resourcing new contracts whilst managing existing ones.
Promoting the companies water treatment services.
Producing quotations and submitting tenders.
Maintaining the companies’ systems.
Getting involved with sales, commercial and the financial side of the business.
Ability to achieve targets and goals.
Atten and conduct meeting to discuss financial position of the business.
Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
Build and maintain professional working relationships with clients/customers.
Ensure that all works are carried out in lie with current Health and Safety procedures.
Develop plans for new and existing clients.
Assisting in the development of the sales staff and provide further training when required.
