Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £38k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued company success, our client is seeking an experienced and hardworking Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their company. You will be working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, public sector and local authority premises across the North West of England and other areas in the North when required. Applicants must hold strong hands-on experience with ACOP L8 compliance duties, and must hold a basic level of plumbing / remedial experience, plus an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing. Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
– As a minimum, will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
– It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented Ticket
– Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Flexible to travel as per company requirements
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
– Completing pre-planned and reactive water hygiene and remedial works across client sites
– Showerhead descales
– TMV servicing and replacements
– Deadleg removals
– Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks
– Pipework modifications
– Mains injections
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– Producing detailed technical reports
