Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £36k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer in the South West of England. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience undertaking ACOP L8 compliance duties, in addition to minor remedial tasts. It would be advantageous to be based with good access to the M4 and / or M5, for easier travel across the region. Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a stronghold across the south of England. Experience / Qualifications:
– Good track record working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
– Ideally will hold NVQ Plumbing qualifications
– Understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Hardworking attitude
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
– Able to work to agreed targets

The Role:
– Undertaking a variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties across client premises
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– TMV servicing and failsafe checks
– Mains disinfections
– CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
– Replacing TMVs and flexi-hoses
– Deadleg removals
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Completing regular service reports
