Job Title: Water Hygiene Plumber
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits £22k – £33k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Plumber

Profile: A busy Legionella/ Water Hygiene company with a national presence, carrying out work on Social Housing, Educational, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Leisure sites. They are now looking to recruit a competent and knowledgeable Water Hygiene Plumber based in and around the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out Plumbing works on a mixed portfolio of sites as well as carrying out water hygiene duties in line with company needs such as temperature monitoring and water sampling.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene industry working for an established company.
” Will hold the City and Guilds (NVQ L2 / L3) in plumbing.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Competent in using PDA / Tablet systems.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
The Role:
The successful candidate will carry out day to day tasks such as:
” Cold water storage tank refurbishments with associated pipework.
” TMV installations and servicing.
” Installing and rerouting copper and plastic pipework ranging in size/ diameter.
” Removing dead legs and redundant pipework to control the risk of Legionella.
” Servicing and installation of hot water cylinders. (Desirable)
” Signing off and completing checks relating to plumbing works.
” Finding faults, providing clients with diagnosis, and resolving any issues effectively.
” Carrying out L8 compliance work to include water sampling and temperature monitoring in line with company needs.
” Making sure all work is being carried out in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
” Liaising with clients and maintaining good working relationships.
