Job Title: Water hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber
Location: Slough, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £28k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber through to Lead Water hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber

Profile: Our client is a reputable Water hygiene / Legionella consultancy working across a range of healthcare, social housing and educational sites up and down the UK. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and motivated Water hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber base in and around the Slough area. The ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 / 3 plumbing qualification and will have extensive experience carrying out TMV servicing and repairs, Temperature monitoring and water sampling.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City & Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in plumbing.
” Will have extensive experience working within the Water hygiene industry.
” Will be well versed within the relevant Health & Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines,
” Will have extensive experience delivering remedial plumbing works to a mixed range of sites.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Undertaking analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
” Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold wate systems and cooling towers.
” Carrying out remedial plumbing works on a mixed range of sites.
” Repairing, Replacing, and servicing TMV’s and showerheads.
” Undertaking regular temperature monitoring, Sampling and analysis of water.
” Maintaining and installing dosing systems.
” Undertaking any remedial works requires.
” Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
” Ensuing that work is being carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety legislation and ACOP L8 guidelines.
