Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: Guildford, Surrey.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £38k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Profile: We are currently working with a leading water hygiene / treatment company who deliver the full range of water hygiene, treatment, legionella services to longstanding clients. They are now looking to take on conscientious and self-motivated Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Guildford area. The successful candidate will be undertaking a split of remedial, and compliance works across a range of local authority, leisure, domestic, Industrial and construction sites. Ideally the candidate will hold a level 2 or 3 plumbing qualification, however, the client is happy to receive applications form candidates with hands on remedial experience within a water hygiene company.

Applications will be considered from: Woking, Redhill, Reigate, Crawley, Farnham, Farnborough, Camberley, Horley, Weybridge, Horsham, Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead, Sutton, Epsom, Bracknell, Reading.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will ideally hold the City and Guilds level 2 / 3 (or equivalent) plumbing qualification.
” Must have hands on experience undertaking legionella compliance and plumbing duties, ideally within a water treatment company.
” Knowledge and experience of working to HSG and ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Role:
” Undertaking a range of legionella remedial works to a mixture of local authority and commercial sites.
” Carrying out water hygiene duties including but not limited to;
o Temperature monitoring.
o Water sampling.
o TMVs servicing and installations.
o Showerhead descales.
o Cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks.
” Ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
