Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Bristol, South West.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £33k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor

Profile: A well regarded Water Hygiene / Legionella company with a national presence across Industrial, Commercial, Leisure and Healthcare sites are now seeking to employ a qualified and self-motivated Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene/Legionella industry, carrying out Temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, Cleaning, disinfections, and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems as well as carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with relevant ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines. This client would also give consideration to Water Hygiene Engineers with minimal Legionella Risk Assessing experience.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry.
” Will ideally hold City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
” Will have extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills and will be competent in using PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out cleaning, disinfections and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
” Monitoring the clients air and water systems, ensuring it complies with current Health & Safety Legislations.
” Carrying out temperature monitoring, routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting results.
” Undertaking installations and maintenance on dosing systems.
” Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Servicing TMVs
” Legionella and TVC sampling.
” Using PDA / Tablet systems to produce detailed reports.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
