Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Torquay, Devon
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £35k + Training & Benefits

Our client is recruiting for a self-sufficient Water Hygiene Engineer to service contracts in the South West of England. You will be joining a successful Compliance / Water Hygiene specialist, who are renowned for their excellent service standards and ethical approach. Candidates must be well-versed in ACOP L8 compliance guidelines, and will have strong hands-on experience with TMV servicing, showerhead descales and cleans / disinfections. They are offering excellent further training into technical water treatment for the successful candidate. Salaries and benefits on offer are competitive.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
– Robust industry technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Able to work independently on site
– Good time management skills
– Strong literacy and numeracy skills
– Confident using IT software

The Role:
– Carrying out water hygiene tasks across commercial, public sector and local authority sites
– TMV servicing and failsafe checks
– Water sampling
– Showerhead descales
– Temperature monitoring
– Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– Outlet flushing
– Completing regular service reports
