Job Description
Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £36k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent expansion, our client is recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites along the M4 corridor. New client contracts include: commercial, public sector and industrial premises. The ideal candidate will hold good hands-on experience of conducting a variety of duties, including: showerhead descales, water sampling, temperature monitoring and tank cleans. Our client is seeking someone who is confident leading on projects and able to manage their own workload. For the successful candidate, they are offering attractive salaries and benefits packages, including: company vehicle and overtime earning.
Locations of work include: Swindon, Wantage, Didcot, Reading, Maidenhead, Oxford, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Andover, Bath, Frome, Salisbury, Yate, Bristol, Trowbridge, Portishead, Witney, Bicester, Aylesbury, Camberley, Slough, Aldershot, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Guildford, Thatcham, Portishead, Dursley, Thornbury, Cirencester.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
– Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Flexible to travel as per client needs
– Ideally will have experience leading on projects
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
– Hardworking attitude
The Role:
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– Cold water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
– Flushing on little used outlets
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– Mains injections
– Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
– Chlorinations
– Providing support and training to engineers
– Completing regular service reports
