Job Description
Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £35k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting in the Midlands region for a multi-skilled Water Hygiene Engineer. You will be joining a growing name within the Compliance industry, who have a successful Water / Legionella department. Daily duties will include: cleans and disinfections, TMV servicing, showerhead descales and routine sampling and monitoring on domestic hot and cold water systems. Our client is able to offer fantastic further training into plumbing and risk assessing in the future. In addition, they are offering competitive salaries and packages, including a company vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
– Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Able to work independently on site when needed
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Able to use a PDA to complete reports
– Strong time keeping skills
The Role:
– Attending client sites to conduct a wide range of pre-planned water hygiene compliance tasks
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– Outlet flushing
– TMV servicing and maintenance
– Pipework chlorinations
– Closed system testing and sampling
– Cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections
– Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Keeping accurate records of works undertaken
