Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £35k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for an motivated and professional Water Hygiene Engineer, to join a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry. Due to recently gaining new contracts, they are looking to add to their team in the North West region. Candidates with a diverse skillset would suit this role, as duties can be varied, however, thorough training can be provided to those who are wanting to build on their existing knowledge. Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
– Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 legislation
– Able to work independently on projects as well as within teams
– Good written ability and experience of updating logbooks
– Hardworking attitude
– Proficient in using IT software

The Role:
– Undertaking a wide range of Water Hygiene duties across a range of sites
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– TMV servicing and failsafe checks
– Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– Flushing on little used outlets
– Calorifier inspections
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Representing the company in a professional manner
– Travelling in line with company needs
– Working to set deadlines and personal targets
