Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £35k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for an motivated and professional Water Hygiene Engineer, to join a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry. Due to recently gaining new contracts, they are looking to add to their team in the North West region. Candidates with a diverse skillset would suit this role, as duties can be varied, however, thorough training can be provided to those who are wanting to build on their existing knowledge. Applicants can expect excellent salaries, in addition to benefits packages, including: company vehicle, overtime earning, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
– Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 legislation
– Able to work independently on projects as well as within teams
– Good written ability and experience of updating logbooks
– Hardworking attitude
– Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
– Undertaking a wide range of Water Hygiene duties across a range of sites
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– TMV servicing and failsafe checks
– Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– Flushing on little used outlets
– Calorifier inspections
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Representing the company in a professional manner
– Travelling in line with company needs
– Working to set deadlines and personal targets
