Job Description
Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £35k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued business growth, a well-known name within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry is recruiting in the South West of England. They are seeking a self-sufficient and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to cover commercial and public sector sites. Our client prides themselves on providing high levels of service and is known for their strong reputation, therefore an incoming candidate must be able to uphold these standards. Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
– Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– It would be advantageous to hold industry training / qualifications (i.e. TMV Servicing, Cleans and Disinfections)
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– Flushing on little used outlets
– TMV servicing and failsafe checks
– Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– Calorifier inspections
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– Completing regular service reports
– Adhering to strict safety guidelines
