Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £21k – £32k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer

Profile: Our client is a multi-discipline environmental company who specialise in water hygiene / Legionella services on education, retail, Healthcare, and MOD sites across the UK. They are now looking for a self-motivated and competent Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Stockport area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the water hygiene industry working to ACOP L8 guidelines carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, repairs and replacement, tank cleans and showerhead descales.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong water hygiene background, ideally working within an established water hygiene / treatment company.
” Will have extensive experience working to relevant HSG / ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role:
” Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling.
” Undertaking disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales.
” Carry out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
” Undertaking showerhead descales.
” Carrying out TMV servicing, replacement, and repairs.
” Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
” Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients.
