Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary / Benefits £22k – £32k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer
Profile:
An expanding Legionella / Water Hygiene company with a family feel, who provide a wide range of Legionella, Water Treatment and Remedial services to clients across the South East. Due to recent contract wins, they are looking to recruit a personable Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team. Candidates will have hands on experience carrying out a wide range of legionella compliance duties to mixed site base. This is a good opportunity to join an employee focused business, who can offer regional work and further industry qualifications.
Applications will be considered from: Colchester, Ipswich, Cambridge, Thetford, Norwich, Peterborough, Kings Lynn and areas with good access to the East Anglia area.
Experience & Qualifications:
– Experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella Company.
– Working knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
– Industry recognised qualifications would be beneficial to the role. (Not Essential)
The Role:
– Undertaking temperature monitoring and water sampling across a Local Authority, Commercial and Retail site base.
– Inspections and servicing of TMVs.
– Descales of showerheads and small outlets.
– Tank Cleans and inspections.
– Cleans and disinfections of CWST.
– Mains injections.
– Undertaking some basic remedial works.
