Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer

Profile: A national and reputable Water Hygiene/Water treatment company, who provide clients with the full range of Water hygiene duties across Healthcare Industrial and commercial sites. This client is now looking to recruit a diligent and competent Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate good practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 guidelines, carrying out Water Sampling, Temperature Monitoring TMV Failsafe and servicing and flushing of used outlets.
Applications will be considered from: Edinburgh. Livingstone, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Sterling, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and Lanark.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working within the Water hygiene/Legionella industry for an established company.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health & Safety / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” Will hold a full driving licence and be happy to travel within the role.
The Role:
” Carrying out Water sampling / Temperature monitoring.
” Showerhead cleanings and disinfections.
” TMV Serving and Fail Safes.
” CWST Cleaning and Disinfections.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Using PDA / Tablet systems to complete and produce detailed reports.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with ACoP L8/HTM 04-01 Guidelines.
