Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer
Profile: A continuously expanding Water Hygiene / Legionella company with a national presence, are now seeking a hardworking and self-motivated Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will have experience working on Carehome, Educational, Leisure and Local Authority sites carrying out Water Sampling, Temperature monitoring, Cleans and Chlorination of CWSTs and TMV servicing.
Applications will be considered from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Kidderminster, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Tamworth, Coventry, Nuneaton, Redditch, Hinkley, Cannock, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Telford, Shrewsbury.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working as an engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
” Will be knowledgeable on HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” Will be familiar with using PDA / Tablet systems.
The Role:
” Carrying out servicing of TMV’s and showerhead descales.
” Water sampling and Temperature monitoring.
” Calorifier blowdowns.
” Cleaning and disinfection on CWST’s.
” Undertaking flushing of little used outlets.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clinets.
” Inputting data onto Tablet/PDA system and updating on site logbooks.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
