Job Title: Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking a multi-skilled Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer in the Midlands region. Ideally, applicants will be well-versed in cleaning ductwork, grease extract systems and canopies, in addition to testing fire dampers. This role will involve travelling as per company needs, and would suit someone hardworking with a flexible nature. Our client is a highly respected outfit, who are renowned for implementing excellent training and development roadmaps. Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Ventilation / Fire Damper Engineer
– Ideally will hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket
– Good understanding of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines
– Will have worked across a wide variety of premises, including: commercial, food outlet and manufacturing sites
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:
– Inspecting and highlighting required works on various ventilation, ductwork, grease extracts and fire dampers
– Logging and testing fire dampers
– Cleans on grease extraction, AHU, ductwork and ventilation systems
– Fitting access doors and panels
– Interpreting technical drawings
– Working to agreed deadlines
– Completing detailed pre and post work reports
– Travelling as per client requirements
