Job Title: Remedial Plumber
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits £20k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Remedial Plumber through to Lead Remedial Plumber

Profile: A well established and multi disciplined Environmental Company, providing a mixed portfolio of clients with the full range of Water Hygiene / Legionella, services across the UK. They are now looking to take on a qualified and competent Remedial Plumber based in and around the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds L2/L3 in plumbing and will have experience in diagnosing faults found on site, signing off plumbing works, using a PDA / Tablet system to produce site reports for clients. For the successful candidate our client can offer a competitive salary rate, fuel card, company vehicle and above average rate of holiday.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold experience working as a Remedial Engineer for an established Legionella / Water company.
” Will hold the City and Guilds L2/L3 (or equivilant qualification).
” Will be competent in using PDA / Tablet systems.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” Will have excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Guidelines.
The Role
” Carrying out CWST refurbishments and installs.
” Undertaking TMV servicing and installs.
” Dead leg removals and pipework rerouting.
” Utilising a G3 certificate (if held) to undertaking servicing and installs of Cylinders.
” Carrying out installations and rerouting copper and PVC pipework.
” Finding faults and diagnosing on site and dealing with in a timely manner.
” Expansion valve installation.
” Signing off and checking over any plumbing works that have been carried out on site.
” Liaising with clients to build and maintain excellent working relationships.
” Ensuring that work is being carried out in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
