Job Description
Job Title: Water Hygiene Plumber
Location: Stourbridge, Birmingham
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £37k DOE + Training & Benefits
This respected company is on the look out for a proactive and enthusiastic plumber, to cover sites across Midlands. Applicants must hold experience in the Water Hygiene Industry and will hold plumbing qualifications, as you will be expected to hit the ground running upon joining the company. You will be undertaking: TMV installations, deadleg removal, disinfections and valve changes, in addition to other reactive and PPM duties. Candidates will ideally have experience working across a range of client sites. Experience / Qualifications:
– Experienced within the Water Hygiene Industry
– Must be qualified with NVQ level 2 and / or 3 plumbing
– Understanding of Water Regulations Act 1999, ACOP L8 and HSG 274
– Inquisitive and keen natured
– Flexible to travel to various client sites
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
– TMV servicing, installations and fail-safe testing
– Cleans, disinfections and chlorination
– Remove dead legs
– Refurbishments of tanks, including re-coating and insulations
– Pipework adjustments
– Cleans and disinfections, including chlorinations
– Backflow prevention and valve changes
– Working on hot and cold water systems
– Liasing with clients offering technical knowledge
– Producing regular service reports
