This well-established Environmental and Occupational Hygiene consultancy offers professional services to a broad range of clients nationwide. Due to business requirements they are now looking to recruit a competent, experienced Occupational Hygienist based in the Derby area. Consideration will be given to applications from Loughborough, Mansfield, Burton-on-Trent, Newark-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Holding NEBOSH Certificate would be beneficial.
Will have a good educational background.
Excellent communication skills essential.
IT Literate.
Previous experience working as an occupational hygienist.
Well versed with the Health & Safety procedures regarding occupational monitoring and environments.

Role:

The work will involve undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing.
Site Assessments.
Emissions testing.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Effective management of projects/accounts effectively.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
