Job Description
Our client is an expanding water treatment / hygiene company, who offer a wide range of legionella, water hygiene and water treatment services to a diverse portfolio of clients throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced, committed, and reliable Legionella Risk Assessor based in or around the Watford area. They are looking for qualified candidates with experience undertaking legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines on a varied site base. Consideration will be given to candidates from Slough, Hemel Hampstead, High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.
Experience & Qualifications:
The individual will have attended City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course.
Will have experience working as a legionella risk assessor with the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Packages.
Duties within the Role:
Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments across a varied site base.
Writing up appropriate reports and attending meetings to discuss findings of reports.
Being involved with the company’s Legionella management systems.
Build and maintain a good working rapport with clients/customers and staff.
Dealing with problems as and when required appropriately and effectively.
Prioritising workload and ensuring work is completed within timescale.
Travelling to sites as per client’s requirements.
The ideal candidate will have good work ethos and at the same time have the ability to carry out technical Legionella Risk Assessments effectively.
