Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor/Water Hygiene Engineer

Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor/Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor/Water Hygiene Engineer

Profile: Our client is a successful water hygiene/ legionella consultancy who work hard to provide their clients with the full range of water hygiene and legionella services across the UK. They are now recruiting for a hard working and self-motivated Legionella Risk Assessor/Water Hygiene Engineer Based in and around the Birmingham area. The deal candidate will hold the City and Guild / WMSoc legionella risk assessing qualification and will have hands on experience undertaking water monitoring, temperature checks, servicing of TMVs and delivering legionella risk assessments.
Applications will be considered from: Wolverhampton, Coventry, Worcestershire, Solihull, Telford, Shrewsbury, Leicestershire, Derby, Nottingham, Stafford, Rugby, Tamworth.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
” Must be well versed in ACOP L8 / Health and Safety Guidelines.
” Will have hands on experience working within the legionella / water hygiene industry.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Undertaking legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Carrying out surveys of water systems.
” Repairing, servicing, and maintaining TMVs.
” Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, cooling towers and tank cleans.
” Undertaking routine temperature monitoring water sampling and analysis of water systems.
” Using information from site to provide clients with detailed reports.
” Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
