Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £28K – £35K +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
Profile: A reputable and long-standing Water Treatment business that specialise in providing the full range of Water Hygiene / Water Treatment / Legionella services to a mixed portfolio of clients. They are now seeking to employ a persistent and efficient Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Coventry area. The successful candidate will be experienced in carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines, as well as L8 tasks, including Temperature monitoring, Water sampling and Cleaning and chlorination’s on both hot and cold-Water systems.
Applications will be considered from: Birmingham, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Daventry, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, Nuneaton, Hinkley.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in legionella risk assessment is essential for the role.
” Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
” Experience working within the Legionella industry, either as a Water hygiene engineer or Legionella Risk Assessor would be beneficial to the role.
” Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
” Working in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
” Basic L8 tasks e.g., Temperature monitoring, Water sampling, Cleaning and chlorination’s on both hot and Cold-Water systems
” Using handheld PDA systems to update onsite logbooks and produce detailed reports for clients.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
