Job Description
Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £45k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued company growth, our client is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor, who can hit the ground running. You will be performing risk assessments on predominantly domestic hot and cold water systems, across commercial, residential and industrial premises. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected and successful outfit, who specialise in Water Treatment and Legionella services. Ideally, you will be based with good access to the M25 for easier travel across the region. Salaries and benefits packages on offer are attractive, and includes the use of a company vehicle and excellent training.
You will be travelling across: Enfield, Cheshunt, Epping, Harlow, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Watford, Stevenage, Harrow, Wembley, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Slough, Bracknell, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Mitcham, Sutton, Croydon, Woking, Guildford, Redhill, Caterham, Oxted, Sevenoaks, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Grays, Tilbury, Romford, Ilford, Barking.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Strong experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
– Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessments
– Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Good client-facing skills
– Proficient using IT software
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
– Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments across client sites
– Highlighting any risks and making appropriate recommendations to clients
– Creating site-specific technical reports
– Producing detailed schematic drawings
– Some water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Fostering strong relationships with clients
– Maintaining own personal technical knowledge
– Supporting the training of new members of the team
