Job Description
Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £38k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a multi-disciplined Compliance / Environmental outfit. They are recruiting for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to cover commercial and public sector sites across the North East of England. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and will be able to work independently on site. As a minimum, candidates will be confident with domestic hot and cold water systems, it would be a bonus to hold experience with process water systems. The successful candidate can expect great further development opportunities, in addition to competitive salaries and bonuses.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
– Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
– Robust technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Able to travel in line with company needs
– Completing regular service reports and experience with logbooks
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
– Performing thorough legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
– Evaluating overall system performance and safety
– Making appropriate recommendations for remedial works
– Producing detailed technical risk assessment reports
– Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical queries and providing general customer support
– Fostering strong relationships with clients
– Training new Risk Assessors
– Working to agreed personal targets
