Job Description
Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Romford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor, ideally with some hands-on experience with some PPM water hygiene duties. You will be joining a successful outfit, who provide full Legionella / Water Hygiene services to their clients. Applicants must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing, and will be able to hit the ground running upon joining the company. This role would suit someone who enjoys a diverse workload, working across a variety of commercial, local authority and domestic premises. You will be travelling across: Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford, Grays, Tilbury, Billericay, Basildon, Wickford, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Southend-on-Sea, Maldon, Chelmsford, Epping, Harlow, Cheshunt, Enfield, Potters Bar, Bishop’s Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Luton, Hitchin, Stevenage.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
– Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
– Excellent technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Hands-on experience with duties, including: TMV servicing, water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Hardworking attitude
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
– Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
– TMV servicing
– Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Advising clients on any found risks and making recommendations for remedial works
– Producing detailed technical reports and associated schematic drawings
– Working to set deadlines
– Remaining punctual and professional on site
– Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
