Job Description
Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a switched-on and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor in the South East of England. It is preferred that candidates are based with good access to the M25 for easier travel to client sites. Our client is a privately owned outfit, who have a stronghold across the region, and a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and public sector clients. You will be working independently to conduct legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems and providing subsequent technical advice. Salaries on offer are attractive and benefits include: company vehicle and overtime earning opportunities.
Locations of work include: Watford, Enfield, Potters Bar, Harrow, Wembley, St Albans, Amersham, Luton, Hitchin, Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Ilford, Barking, Hornchurch, Stevenage, Chelmsford, Billericay, Grays, Tilbury, Basildon, Southall, Slough, Reading, High Wycombe, Woking, Bracknell, Kingston upon Thames, Mitcham, Orpington, Dartford, Erith, Gravesend, Sevenoaks, Epsom.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Hands-on experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
– Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
– Excellent technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Strong communication skills
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
– Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
– Collecting water samples and temperature monitoring
– Identifying compliance risks and making recommendations for remedial works
– Producing detailed technical reports
– Creating accurate schematic drawings
– Providing technical advice directly to clients
– Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and third parties
– Working to agreed deadlines
