Job Description
We have currently had an opportunity to work for a well-established Legionella/Water hygiene company, who delivers a wide range of legionella/water hygiene serviced to a mixed portfolio of clients nationally. They are currently looking to recruit a hardworking and motivated Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will hold strong experience within the legionella/water hygiene industry, undertaking risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines on a mixed portfolio of sites and would also be doing national travel when needed. Consideration will be given to candidates from Stafford, Derby, Loughborough, Leicester, and the surrounding areas.
Experience & qualifications
Will ideally hold the City and Guilds Risk assessment qualification.
Hold experience undertaking ACOP L8 Risk assessments within the water hygiene/treatment industry.
Good working knowledge of chemical treatment, cooling towers, steam boilers etc.
Proficient using IT and Microsoft packages.
Must hold excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Role
Undertaking Legionella risk assessments in line with the ACOP L8 Guidelines.
Providing clients and customers with prices fort remedial works and undertake works when required.
Surveying water systems and supplies in like with ACOP L8 guidelines.
Undertaking servicing and repairing TMVs.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, cooling towers, tank cleans etc.
Undertaking temperature monitoring and conducting routine sampling and analysis in water systems.
Producing final documents to clients and customers.
Compiling schematic drawings.
Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients / customers.
