Job Description
Our client who is a leading name within the water treatment/legionella industry are looking to recruit a hardworking and conscientious Legionella risk assessor due to an increase of contracts within the Croydon area. Carrying out Legionella risk assessments, in line with ACOP L8 guidelines on mixed portfolio of sites. Consideration will be given to candidates from, London, Bromley, Romford, Dagenham, Dartford and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience
Will ideally hold the City and Guilds or WMSoc Legionella risk assessing qualification.
Working knowledge of domestic, commercial, and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations.
Must hold experience of carrying out risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 is essential.
Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Role
Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8, working on a mix of commercial and industrial systems including cooling towers.
Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water monitoring.
Carry out surveys on Water systems and supplies.
Providing quotes for remedial works and routine control measures through carrying out works based on the risk assessment.
Attending meeting with clients and providing advice.
