Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor

Profile: Our client is a multi-discipline Environmental Consultancy who due to continued growth are now looking to recruit a qualified and diligent Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for an established Water Hygiene/Legionella company, carrying out Risk Assessments on Commercial, Industrial and Domestic sites in line with ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) In Legionella Rik assessment.
” Must have extensive experience working within the Legionella / Water hygiene industry.
” Will have excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills and will be competent in using tablet system and updating onsite Logbooks.
The Role:
Undertaking day to day legionella tasks such as:
” Managing own schedule, arranging site visits and designating time for report writing.
” Undertaking Assessments on domestic and industrial water systems; working in accordance to L8/ HSG/ HTM guidelines.
” Producing schematic drawings for clients.
” Writing bespoke reports based on Risk Assessing findings and implementing control measures.
” Assessing any faults found on site and providing technical advice on remedial works to be carried out going forward.
” Carrying out routine sampling, temperature monitoring and surveying on water systems.
” Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
