Job Title: Legionella Plumber
Location: Tamworth, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £40k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a respected and successful name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, who provide the full range of compliance services, from plumbing to legionella risk assessing. They are recruiting for a qualified Legionella Plumber, who holds good hands-on experience of conducting duties in line with ACOP L8 legislation. You will be working across a diverse range of client sites, including: commercial, local authority and domestic. Ideally, applicants will also be able to carry out pre-planned water hygiene duties. Our client is offering attractive salaries and benefits packages, including a company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as a Legionella Plumber within a well-established outfit
– Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
– Ideally will be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket
– Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Strong written and numerical skills
– Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
– Conducting a range of Plumbing and Water Hygiene tasks across client sites
– Deadleg removals
– Tank re-lining and refurbishments
– Installing new tanks and replacing where needed
– Servicing on vented and unvented cylinders
– Modifying pipework
– TMV maintenance and replacements
– Showerhead descales
– Flushing on little used outlets
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Producing regular technical reports
