Job Title: Lead Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Manchester, Northwest.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer through to Lead Water Treatment Engineer

Profile: Our client is a leading name within the water treatment industry, carrying out the full range of water treatment / water hygiene duties across the UK for a mixed range of clients. They are now looking to take on an independent and efficient Lead Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge within the water treatment industry, carrying out routine inspections, sampling, temperature monitoring and analysis on water systems, and dealing with chemical tank cleans .

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold extensive experience working as an engineer within the water treatment industry.
” Must have a strong technical knowledge and will ideally hold experience working on steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems.
” A proven track record of managing a team of engineers.
” Must be well versed with relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
” Will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Will be proficient in using Microsoft office packages.
The Role:
” Carrying out a range of water treatment / hygiene duties to a mixture of water systems including cooling towers, closed systems, and closed systems.
” Conducting routine inspection, sampling, temperature monitoring and analysis of water systems.
” Carrying out CWST cleaning.
” Carrying out cleaning, servicing, and replacing of TMVs and Showerheads.
” Carrying out chemical rank cleans, steam boilers and cooling towers.
” Collecting extensive information from site to provide clients with detailed reports.
” Undertaking servicing and disinfections of mains water systems.
” Overseeing a team of engineers; scheduling work and equipment.
” Assisting in training of site staff where required.
” Maintaining a professional working relationship with clients.
” Generating prices, quotations and plans for clients.
