Job Description
Job Title: Fire Door Engineer
Location: Bolton, Lancashire
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £50k + Training & Benefits
Due to company expansion, a leading name within the building services industry is seeking a Fire Door Engineer to cover new contracts across the North West region. Applicants must have a robust skillset and adaptable nature in order to meet client requirements. You will be joining a well-established outfit who have a national presence and offer a wide range of compliance services to their clients. Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have proven experience working as a Fire Door Engineer
– It is preferrable that candidates hold an NVQ in Joinery
– Will hold the BM TRADA and FDIS Fire Door Inspector
– Ideally will hold the FIRAS Fire Door Installation ticker
– Able to work across a range of client sites
– Strong technical knowledge
– Good literacy and IT skills
The Role:
– Thoroughly inspecting existing fire doors to establish any required remedial duties
– Undertaking general maintenance, repairs and servicing on fire doors
– Completing some installations of fire doors
– Meeting with clients to provide technical recommendations
– Working in accordance with FIRAS guidelines
– Travelling in line with company requirements
– Working to agreed deadlines and targets
– Producing detailed reports
