Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Location: Manchester, North West
Salary / Benefits £35k – £50k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Commissioning Engineer through to Lead Commissioning Engineer

Profile: Our client is a busy Building Services company, working across Industrial, Healthcare, and Retail. They are now looking to recruit an experienced and diligent Commissioning Engineer, based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will hold CSA grades and will have extensive knowledge of CIBSE / BSRIA guidelines and will have extensive experience of balancing air and water systems, producing commissioning reports and ensuring work is being carried out in line with client specifications.
Applications will be considered from: Bolton, Bury Rochdale, Leigh, Warrington, Oldham, Stockport, , Macclesfield, ST Helens, Wigan Chorley, Preston, Blackburn, Lancaster.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience within the Water Treatment / Commissioning industry.
” Wil have excellent working knowledge of BSRIA / CIBSE guidelines.
” Will hold CSA grade 2 or above. (Desirable)
” Will have excellent communication skills and be capable of writing reports.
The Role:
” Carrying out commissioning and testing on various ventilation, water and heating systems to ensure correct design and compliance to legislation.
” Checking flow rates and velocities.
” Producing commissioning reports.
” Working to agreed timescales and ensuring good standards of work.
” Carrying out calibration of equipment to accurately balance clients water systems.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with BSRIA / CIBSE guidelines.
” Carrying out Water Treatment duties when required.
” Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients and producing detailed reports on PDA systems.
Alternative Job titles: Commissioning Engineer, Air & Water Balancing, BSRIA, HVAC, Trainee Commissioning Engineer, Lead Commissioning Engineer and Validation Engineer.
