Job Title: Asbestos Trainer
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £30k – £50k + Training & Benefits

A UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy is recruiting for a knowledgeable Asbestos Trainer, with a successful track record within the industry. The ideal candidate must have excellent technical knowledge, and will be confident in articulating instructions / advice effectively. We are seeking someone who hardworking, professional and able to work self-sufficiently. Our client is ideally seeking someone in the South East of England, but can consider candidates further afield, provided they are happy to travel in line with company needs. We can also consider candidates with strong industry experience, who would like to move into a Trainer role. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages, including: pension scheme, annual leave, company vehicle and fuel card.

Ideally, you will be based around: Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Epping, Chelmsford, Basildon, Billerciay, Grays, Tilbury, Colchester, Cheshunt, Chigwell, Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford, Barking, Hatfield, St Albans, Potters Bar, Watford, Harpenden, Luton, Hitchin, Stevenage, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Harrow, Wembley, Maidenhead, Slough, Thame, Bedford, Cambridge.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as an Asbestos Trainer within a reputable outfit
– Ideally will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404, P405 or RSPH equivalents
– It would be advantageous to hold the CCP, CoCA W504 and / or Assessor qualifications
– Excellent industry technical knowledge, including UKAS and HSG guidelines
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
– Professional manner

The Role:
– Delivering UKATA and BOHS approved asbestos training courses to internal and external clients, including: Asbestos Awareness, licensed and non-licensed removal works
– Curating effective and detailed training courses
– Maintaining own personal knowledge of industry guidelines
– Training and supporting new Trainers
– Travelling in line with client needs
– Fostering strong relationships with clients
– Meeting with clients to establish requirements
– Implementing adjustments to improve courses and delivery
