Asbestos Surveyor – Hertford

Job Description
Our client is an expanding and professional UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, with a presence throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced P402 Asbestos Surveyor to cover a portfolio of non-domestic contracts around the Hertford, area. The successful candidate will hold a strong work history and extensive experience under-taking asbestos surveys on large scale projects. In return the company can offer regional work and competitive travel time and over-time rates. Applications from Stevenage, Watford, Enfield, and areas with good access to the South Midlands / Home Counties region will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must hold the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Experience undertaking large scale asbestos surveys.
P403/4 would be beneficial, although further training can be provided.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation/procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to schedule own workload.
IT Literate.
Key Tasks:
Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings – both commercial and industrial sites.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining good working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
