Job Title: Health & Safety / Fire Consultant
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Health & Safety / Fire Consultant through to Lead Health & Safety / Fire Consultant

Profile: We currently have an exciting opportunity to join an independent Risk Management Consultancy, who pride themselves of providing professional and tailored Health and Safety, Fire Risk and CDM services to a portfolio of Private Sector clients. Due to recent contract wins, they are recruiting a Health & Safety / Fire Risk Consultant to cover contracts across the Yorkshire / Midlands region. This is a good opportunity for an entry level Health & Safety Consultants who have minimal industry experience and are looking to build on their knowledge within a progressive and employee focused business. The client is able to offer the right candidate funded course training and support through to CMIOSH level.

Applications will be considered from: Leeds, Wakefield, Halifax, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Wetherby, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Macclesfield, Stockport, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale Bury, Bolton, Leigh, Warrington.

Experience & Qualifications:
” As a minimum must hold the NEBOSH general, ideally holding the NEBOSH Fire recognised industry qualification.
” Experience working within a Health & Safety role, ideally within a Private Sector or Consultancy Setting.
” Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.
” Will hold a professional and polished demeanour and able to communicate effectively within a client facing role.
” Be able to manage own schedule; and effectively split time across site visits and write up days.
” Due to the nature of the role, applicants most hold a full driving license and be happy to travel as part of the role.

The Role:
” Carrying out Health and Safety Risk Assessments and Audits.
” Undertaking Safe Working practices.
” Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments.
” Assist with the formulation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
” Liaising with clients, providing details Fire and safety guidance and undertaking any investigations when requested, alongside producing detailed Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessment reports.
” Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Ensuring any issues are dealt with in a timely manner and appropriately.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
