Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £43k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued success, our client is recruiting for a hardworking Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team. They are looking for someone who is based in the South East of England, with experience of working across a diverse portfolio of sites, including: domestic / housing and local authority. Our client is a respected name within the industry, who have a nationwide presence and busy client base. Due to the nature of their contracts, they are also able to consider candidates who are signed off as singular Surveyors and / or Analyts. Our client is offering attractive salaries and benefits packages.

You will be travelling across: Basildon, Billericay, South Benfleet, Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island, Grays, Tilbury, Chelmsford, Maldon, Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford, Barking, Epping, Enfield, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Caterham, Chatham, Rainham, Snodland, Aylesford, Maidstone, Redhill.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven track record as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Analyst
– Dual skilled and surveyors will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Dual skilled and analysts will hold the BOHS P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
– Fully conversant in UKAS and HSG 264, HSG 248 guidelines
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:
– Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Re-inspection surveys
– Collecting ACM samples from client sites
– 4 stage clearances
– Full air monitoring, including: personal, re-occupation, leak, smoke and background
– Fibre counting
– Calibrating equipment
– Producing regular technical reports
– Signing off asbestos removals works once completed
– Liaising with sub-contractors and third parties
– Providing technical advice and support to clients
– Fostering positive working relationships with clients
