Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: East Kilbride, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £42k + Training & Benefits

A privately owned Asbestos Consultancy is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team. Applicants must have strong hands-on experience of completing all types asbestos surveys, in addition to analytical tasks (i.e. air testing and clearances). In addition, you must be confident in communicating with asbestos removals teams in order to ensure works are compliant and safe. You will be travelling across the Central belt of Scotland, working across a range of domestic and commercial premises. Our client is offering competitive salaries, in addition to: company vehicle, fuel card, and overtime.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
– Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
– Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
– Confident working across a diverse range of client sites
– Strong communication skills
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT proficiencies

The Role:
– Conducting thorough management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Carrying out 4 stage clearances
– Full air monitoring, including: personal, smoke, reassurance, leak and background
– Safely collecting ACM samples from site
– Producing detailed technical reports and floorplans
– Inspecting removals projects to confirm compliance before sign-off
– Providing technical advice and support to clients
– Working to set deadlines
– Maintaining own personal technical knowledge
