Job Description
Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £43k + Training & Benefits
A leading name within the Compliance / Asbestos industry is recruiting for qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover the M62 corridor. We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running, who can manage their own workload effectively. Due to the nature of the contracts, our client can also consider candidates who only hold surveying or analytical experience. You must hold experience working across a variety of client sites, including: domestic and commercial. The successful candidate can expect attractive salaries and benefits packages.
Locations of work include: Leeds, Rothwell, Garforth, Castleford, Normanton, Pontefract, Selby, Sherburn in Elmet, Snaith, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, Mirfield, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Halifax, Brighouse, Batley, Morley, Wakefield, Horbury, Bradford, Pudsey, Horsford, Wetherby, Tadcaster, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Manchester.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
– Successful record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
– Conversant in HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
– Confident using IT software
– Strong literacy and numeracy skill level
– Professional manner
The Role:
– Conducting the full range of asbestos surveys (management, demolition, refurbishment and re-inspection)
– 4 stage clearances
– Full air testing, including: background, smoke, leak, reoccupation and personal
– Liaising with removals teams to oversee projects
– Sampling for suspected ACMs
– Fibre counting
– Producting detailed technical reports
– Representing the company in a professional manner
– Wearing correct PPE at all times
