Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £43k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a national player within the Asbestos industry, with a busy client base and strong reputation. They have recently won new business in the North West of England, and is recruiting for an experienced and qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to work across domestic and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of industry knowledge and hands-on experience, and will be able to work independently on site. Locations of work include: St Helens, Warrington, Prescot, Widnes, Runcorn, Frodsham, Ellesmere Port, Altrincham, Manchester, Stockport, Birkenhead, Liverpool, Bootle, Crosby, Skelmersdale, Formby, Southport, Ormskirk, Chester, Chorley, Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, within a UKAS accredited company
– Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
– Fully conversant in HSG 264 and 248 guidelines
– Strong communication skills
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– IT proficient

The Role:
– Conducting the full range of asbestos surveys (including: management, refurbishment and demolition)
– Performing re-inspection surveys
– Collecting ACM samples from site and bagging correctly
– 4 stage clearances
– Air monitoring (personal, leak, reassurance, smoke and background)
– Working across a variety of asbestos removals projects
– Liaising with removals teams to ensure works are completed within industry guidelines
– Producing thorough technical reports and floorplans
– Providing regular updates to clients and technical recommendations
