Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a UKAS accredited consultancy, with a strong presence across the South West of England. They are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, with existing technical experience and a hardworking attitude. You will be servicing a range of commercial and domestic premises, undertaking asbestos surveys and analytical duties, ensuring deadlines are met and client service standards are maintained. The company are a successful outfit with the infrastructure to support further training and development. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime, pension scheme and company vehicle.

Locations of work include: Bath, Bradford-upon-Avon, Melksham, Chippenham, Calne, Yate, Filton, Bristol, Radstock, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Street, Bridgwater, Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Portishead, Thornbury, Taunton, Dursley, Chepstow, Lydney, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Penarth, Pontypridd, Bridgend.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Strong on-site experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
– Will have worked within a UKAS accredited outfit
– Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
– Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Proficient in the use of IT software

The Role:
– Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a varied portfolio of client sites
– Collecting samples from client sites
– Conducting 4 stage clearances
– Carrying out the full range of air monitoring, including: background, smoke, leak, personal and reassurance
– Ensuring asbestos abatement projects adhere to safety guidelines
– Producing thorough technical reports
– Meeting with clients to advise on findings and to provide project updates
– Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
