Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: A reputable and established Environmental Company with a national presence, carrying out the full range of asbestos services to Industrial, Healthcare Retail, Educational and Social Housing sites. They are now seeking to employ an ambitious and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover contracts across the Yorkshire area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402, P403, P404 qualification and will have extensive experience undertaking Personal air testing, 4 Stage clearances and Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys. Consideration will also be given to candidates who hold either the P402 or the P403/4 and are seeking to gain further Pcert modules.

The client can offer regional work, covering contracts across the West / South Yorkshire region and will consider applications from: Leeds, Morley, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Castleford, Normanton, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Worksop.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must have experience working within the Asbestos industry working for an established Asbestos Consultancy.
” Will ideally hold the P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) qualifications (desirable). Consideration will be given to candidates with the P402 or P403/4.
” Experience using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems would be beneficial.
” Will hold experience within a Surveyor / Analyst role and a good working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Able to communicate effectively with clients.

The Role:

” Carrying out the full range of Asbestos Air monitoring duties such as Smoke, Background, Leak, Re-occupation, personal ait testing and 4 Stage clearances and Visual inspections on a mixed portfolio of site.
” Will carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
” Producing re-inspection certificated for clients.
” Collecting data on handheld PDAs and providing clients with site specific reports
” Will provide clients with re-inspection certificates.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
