Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst
Location: Bristol, South West.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £36k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst

Profile: A busy Environmental Company with a national presence, is now seeking a hardworking and diligent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Local Authority, Industrial, Healthcare Commercial and Educational sites, carrying out Management, Refurbishment, Demolition Surveys, Personal air testing and 4 Stage clearances. This client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, Company van, overtime allowances and attractive holiday allowance.

Applications will be considered from: Bath, Chippenham, Swindon, Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, Trowbridge, Devizes, Cirencester, Marlborough, Weston-super-Mare, Glastonbury, Bridgewater, Taunton, Newport, Cardiff, Pontypridd, Bridgend and areas with good access to the M4 / South West / South Wales region.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the P402 or P403, P404 (or RSPH) qualification as a minimum.
” Experience working for an established Environment / Asbestos company would be beneficial to the role.
” Strong working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Will have experience using handheld PDA systems for report writing,
” Will have excellent communication skills, written and Verbal.

The Role:
” Carrying out Management, Refurbishment, Demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” 4 Stage clearances, Smoke, Background, Leak, Refurbishment, Re-occupation and Personal air testing.
” Providing clients with re-occupation certificates along side using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed, site-specific reports.
” Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with Health and Safety legislation relating to Asbestos.
