Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £42k + Training & Benefits

A multi-disciplined compliance consultancy is recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor in the North West region. You will be working across a range of commercial and domestic premises, performing the full range of asbestos surveys. We are seeking someone who is confident in working to agreed deadlines and safety standards, who holds a wealth of experience within the industry. Our client can support further training into the analytical, for hardworking individuals. Locations of work include: Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Altrincham, Manchester, Stockport, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Birkenhead, Liverpool, Prescot, St Helens, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Chorley, Preston, Blackburn, Southport, Formby, Skelmersdale, Burnley, Huddersfield, Halifax, Holmfirth, Bradford, Leeds.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
– Strong hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
– Good working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
– Strong literacy and numeracy skills
– Proficient in using IT software

The Role:
– Conducting thorough management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across commercial and domestic premises
– Re-inspection surveys
– Collecting samples from site and bagging correctly
– Producing detailed schematic drawings
– Compiling findings into bespoke reports
– Being a key point of contact for clients, answering queries and providing support
– Adhering to industry safety guidelines
– Ensuring to meet / surpass performance deadlines
